Who does what
- Everyone in the workspace can read the Inbox and press Check now.
- The owners, admins, marketers, creators and approvers write answers and mark a comment done or open again. An answer written by someone who cannot send it waits under the comment, marked Waiting for approval.
- The owners, admins and approvers send an answer as the brand, change its words as they send it, or write and send in one step.
- An answer that has not gone out can be changed or taken back. One that went out stays as it was sent.
When Figlix looks
Once a day at 22:05 UTC, and whenever someone presses Check now, which runs at most once every 5 minutes for a brand. The page says when it last looked.
On each channel
Comments and replies on the Page's posts are read. Answering them from Figlix, as the Page, waits on Meta's permission; until then the Inbox says so, and you answer on Facebook itself.
An answer there takes up to 8,000 characters.
Reading and answering comments both wait on Meta's permission. Until then the Inbox says so under Instagram.
An answer there takes up to 2,200 characters.
Reading and answering comments on the Company Page's posts wait on LinkedIn approving Figlix for Company Page comments. LinkedIn does not give Figlix commenters' names, so a comment there reads as from someone on LinkedIn.
An answer there takes up to 1,250 characters.
When an answer does not go out
- If the platform refuses it, the answer says what the platform said, and it can be changed and sent again.
- If the platform goes quiet after the answer left, nobody knows whether it went up. Figlix says so and does not send it again until someone has looked under the comment and says it is not there, so the brand never answers twice.
What Figlix keeps
For each comment, the name the platform shows, the words and when they were written; never the person’s account id, picture or profile. Figlix deletes them 90 days after they were written, with the answers under them. Answers keep who wrote them and who sent them.
