Before you start
- Reddit is about taking part. Read each community's rules before posting anything about the brand; most refuse promotion, and all refuse it from a new account.
The steps, in Reddit's order
Create the account
The username is the handle below — it cannot be changed later, ever. Use the business email.
Fill the profile
Settings → Profile: the display name, the About below, the avatar and the banner.
Join the communities the customers are in
Comment and answer questions for a couple of weeks before the first post that mentions the brand — that is what earns the right to.
Each heading opens Reddit's own page. In Figlix the same steps sit beside the words it wrote, at app.figlix.com/presence.
What Reddit allows in each box
These are Reddit's own limits, read from its help on 2026-09-22. Figlix writes each of these from your Brand Brain, inside the limit, so nothing is refused after you have pasted it.
- Display name · up to 30 characters
- Shown on the profile; the username stays as the address.
- About · up to 200 characters
- 200 characters: who this account is, in plain words — Reddit distrusts marketing copy.
The handle
Reddit allows 3–20 characters, letters, numbers and underscores. Figlix works one out from the brand's name under that rule rather than asking a model to invent one, and offers the next one when the first is taken. For Wedyesday, the brand every example on this site comes from, that is wedyesday.
A Reddit username can never be changed.
The pictures it asks for
- Profile picture · square, at least 256 px
- Square, at least 256 pixels.
- Cover · 1920 × 384
- 1920 × 384, a wide banner across the top of the profile.
Once the account exists
Figlix cannot post to Reddit for anyone yet, so an approved Reddit post is copied out of the Calendar and posted by hand. Everything up to that is the same.
A new account with nothing on it reads as abandoned, so Figlix also writes the first post from the Brand Brain — ready for somebody to approve.
What is always true
- Figlix does not create the account. Every platform here forbids automated signup, and it would need your password — so you make it, and Figlix has the words ready before you are asked for them.
- The words come from your Brand Brain, so they say the same thing everywhere, in the length each platform allows. You edit anything you like before you keep it.
- The handle is worked out from the brand's name under the platform's own rule, not written by a model. If it is taken, the page offers the next one.
- Nothing is sent from Figlix to the platform. You paste what you kept into the platform's own screen.
